제목 Characterization of Siloxane Oligomers Containing Nonlinear Optical Chromophores
초록 The synthesis and characterization of siloxane oligomers having nonlinear optical chromophores have been recently described. The controlled hydrolysis of dichloromethylsilane has been done in a mixture of water and α,ω-dichloro-α,ω-dimethylsiloxane oligomers. These are fractionated by vacuum distillation and characterized by 1H-NMR. The siloxane oligomers with electro-optical properties have been synthesized via a platinum-catalyzed hydrosilylation reaction between allyl Disperse Red 1 and α,ω-dichloro-α,ω-dimethylsiloxane oligomers. The products have also been characterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR and UV spectroscopy. The side chain siloxane oligomer with non-linear optical properties has been obtained by Pt-catalyzed hydrosilylation between methylsiloxane oligomer and allyl-terminated Disperse Red 1. Another side chain siloxane oligomer has been made by Pt-catalyzed hydrosilylation between methylsiloxane oligomer and allyl-terminated Disperse Yellow 7.
