Comparison of Thermal Tg to Dynamic Tg in Solid Polymer Electrolyte (PEG-PU/NaSCN) |

Solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) based on poly(ethylene glycol)-polyurethane (PU) complexed salt (NaSCN) have been prepared by the solvent casting method. Thermal glass transition temperature and dynamic glass transition temperature of these materials were investigated by using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and dynamic mechanical thermal analyzer (DMTA). The results showed that there is considerable difference between thermal Tg and dynamic Tg on solid polymer electrolyte (PEG-PU/NaSCN). The relation between chain mobility and glass transition temperature of SPEs has also been investigated as a function of ionic conductivity. |
