제목 Synthesis and Characterizations of EB-curable Monomers for Anti-fogging Coating
초록 EB (electron beam) curable monomers (AF-1 and AF-2) containing acrylate group for anti-fogging coating were synthesized and their structures were characterized by NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) and FT-IR (Fourier-transform infrared) spectroscopy, and photo-differential scanning calorimetry (photo-DSC). The synthesized reactive AF-1 monomer with mono functionality and AF-2 monomer with tetra functionality were formulated into both EB-curable system and UV-curable system for anti-fogging coating in order to investigate the coating properties of both systems. The results demonstrated that the EB-cured films containing AF-1 and AF-2 exhibited better adhesion, hardness, water repellent properties, and chemical resistance than did the UV-cured system containing AF-1 and AF-2. The EB-curable system for anti-fogging coating was recommended to optimize the process for the system where good adhesion and water repellent coating properties are required.
