제목 | Ultraviolet Curable Polyurethane Dispersions Based on Polyisocyanate |
초록 | Advantages of ultraviolet(UV) curing in coating industry include fast curing, absence of volatile organic componets(VOCs), more reduction of energy consumption and greater productivity. UV curable polyurethane dispersions(UV-PUDs) are relatively new, pollution-free process and have been prepared from reactive urethane oligomer, neutralizing agent and photoinitiator. We have studied the effect of prepolymer chain length, functionality of the hydroxyl acrylate and type of caping agent, viz 2-hydroxyethylacrylate(HEA) and aminopropyl triethoxy silane. By decreasing prepolymer molecular weight and by increasing functionality of the hydroxyl acrylate, mechanical and dynamic mechanical properties of UV-PUD films were improved. And by increasing content of silica, thermal properties of the UV-PUD films were improved. Fig. 1. Thermogravimetric Analysis of UV-PUD vs. aminopropyl triethoxy silane content. |
