제목 | A study on the modification of electrolyte membrane for using DMFC |
초록 | The electrolyte membrane for Direct Methanol Fuel Cell should have good proton conductivity, thermal/chemical stability, and low methanol permeability. But commercial electrolyte membrane, Nafion 117, has high proton conductivity and thermal/chemical stability, and high methanol permeability. Therefore we research the modification of Nafion membrane to retain proton conductivity and reduce methanol permeability. We fabricate composite membrane modified the membrane surface with using base polymer(i.e Poly(4-vinyl pyridine)). The base polymer coated electrolyte membrane has ionic crosslinked structure, these composite membrane show low methanol permeability compared with nafion membrane, retaining proton conductivity. |
