Indium tin oxide(ITO) is a commonly-used transparent electrode in organic solar cells(OSCs). However, the high price of indium and relatively low conductivity of ITO on flexible substrates creates a need for finding an alternative transparent electrode. To overcome these problems, we introduced tri-layer structured transparent electrode, composed of metal oxide/Ag/metal oxide. As a result, the photovoltaic performance of ITO-free devices was comparable to devices using ITO and the stability of ITO-free devices was enhanced. |
