For the organic solar cells (OSCs), the bulk heterojunction system has been investigated intensively over the past decades especially caused by their properties such as low cost, flexibility and the possibility. We synthesized the new conjugated polymers, PBDTCN, PBDTTCN, PBDTF and PBDTTF, which were synthesized by Stille polymerization. The HOMO energy levels of four polymers (PBDTCN, PBDTTCN, PBDTF and PBDTTF) were at -5.14 ~ -5.5 eV, their LUMO energy levels were at -3.46 ~ -3.85 eV, corresponding to the electrochemical band gap of around 1.7 eV. The device comprising PBDTTCN and PC71BM (1:1.5) with DIO showed a VOC of 0.86 V, a JSC of 3.14 mA/cm2, and a fill factor (FF) of 0.40, giving a power conversion efficiency of 1.09%. The device comprising PBDTTF and PC71BM (1:1.5) with DIO showed a VOC of 0.82 V, a JSC of 3.28 mA/cm2, and a fill factor (FF) of 0.39, giving a power conversion efficiency of 1.05%. |
