In this work, we have prepared the urea-treated exfoliated graphite oxide (U-EGO) as a function of reaction temperature, in order to investigate the hydrogen storage behaviors. The surface functional groups and specific elements of U-EGO were characterized with Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectrometry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), respectively. And the structural and morphological properties were confirmed by X-ray diffraction and Scanning electron microscope, respectively. The hydrogen storage capacity was investigated by BEL-HP at 298 K and 10 MPa. From the results, it was found that the urea treatment affected the surface and structure of EGO, resulting in enhancing the hydrogen storage capacity of EGO. |
