The use of organic-inorganic hybrid nanomaterials has been investigated to develop advanced nanomaterials through the combination of the properties of individual components in single platform, which are not simple physical mixtures. Meanwhile, molecular self-assembly approaches for creating smart materials have reached a high level of sophistication. The introduction of inorganic nanoparticles into self-assembled organic nanostructures is able to offer a powerful route to the preparation hybrid materials with desired optical, electrical and magnetic functions through a careful choice of nanoparticles and organic components. In this talk, I will discuss the recent results obtrained in the fabrication and control of the hybrid nanostructures in which the nanoparticle were localized to a specific region. |
