Poly(ethylene glycol) grafted with pyridinium triblock copolymers prepared by RAFT polymerization as novel polymer electrolytes |
초록 |
Lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are widely used for various energy storage devices because of their relatively high energy density and specific energy. However, typical LIBs have serious safety issues (combustion and explosion) that are caused by the use of organic solvents as electrolytes. Polymer (or gel) electrolytes can be the solution for the safety issues. We report herein poly(ethylene glycol) grafted with pyridinium triblock copolymers as novel gel electrolytes. The polymers were prepared by RAFT polymerization, and the properties of the newly-developed polymers will be detailed. |
