High-density monolayer deposition of nanoparticles |

One of the key issues facing today’s scientist and engineers is the creation of nanostructure with nanomaterials (nanodots, nanowires, nanotubes and DNA) for basic understanding of nano-assembly and further application such as opto-electronic devices, high capacity catalyst and biosensors. However the assembled structure developed so far shows defects, especially in large scale, and still suffers from lack of reproducibility. In this presentation, we show an original approach to form homogeneous, large-scale, defect free monolayers composed of monodisperse nanopartices deposited on 2D substrate via spin assisted deposition and dip assisted deposition.We also calculated interaction forces to identify the most effective forces acting during the deposition process. We expect this result to be applied for the fabrication of the next-generation of high density memory devices and quantum dots-based light emitting diodes. |
