제목 Polycation-based self-assembled delivery complex: a new way of heparin-mediated growth factor delivery for therapeutics
초록 A series of previous in vivo studies demonstrated that self-assembled polymeric complex using polycations effectively deliver the heparin-binding growth factors. Poly(ethylene argininylaspartate diglyceride) (PEAD) that is based on arginine, aspartic acid, has been investigated for the development of the self-assembeled delivery complex. A basic principle of polycation-mediated growth factor delivery complex is that first, binding growth factors with heparin-binding affinity with heparin. Then, positively charged polycations will simply interact with an excess negative charge of heparin/growth factor complex to create spherical droplets in aqueous solution. The release of cargo protein depends on the degradation of polycation polymer backbone and dissociation between heparin and growth factor. A series of in vivo studies will be introduced to demonstrate the in vivo functionality of PEAD-based growth factor delivery complex.
