Effect of Hydrophobicity from Functionalized Silica Particles with Different Size |
초록 |
In this study, the 40 and 80 nm of silica particles were synthesized with alkyl silane or fluorinated silane to introduce hydrophobicity by sol-gel process. It was found that there is a relationship between the particle size and the hydrophobicity. It was observed that surface contact angle of having low surface energy fluorine-modified silica particles exhibits higher. Fluorine-modified silica particles with two different length scales were introduced onto the PET substrates to observe hydrophobicity. |
