제목 Easy fabrication of large size Superhydrophobic surface produced by atmosperic pressure plasma polymerization of HMDSO/Toluene mixture plasma in an in-line process
초록 We report on the formation of super-hydrophobic surface on glass via plasma polymerization at atmospheric pressure. The glass was simply treated by employing a radio frequency (RF) plasma in a mixture of Toluene and hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO). The super-hydrophobicity was characterized by contact angle measurement. We easily obtained superhydrophobic surface using the HMDSO/Toluene mixture by plasma. It is attribute to use the in-line process at atmospheric pressure. In representation, the contact angle of the glass before and after the 50:50 HMDSO/toluene plasma modification increased from 51 degree to 149 degree, showing the significant improvement of hydrophobicity of sample surfaces treated by 50:50 HMDSO/toluene plasma.
