Preparation and Characterization of Iron Oxide Coated-Biodegradable Polymer |

The present study described the preparation and analysis of amphiphilic copolymercoated iron oxide (IO) magnetic nanoparticles. To incorporate IO magnetic nanoparticle into poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(lactic acid) (mPEG-PLA) without oleic acid, the end group of PLA was modified by carboxylic group. The IO-coated mPEG-PLA nanoparticle was prepared by the oil-in-water emulsion method. The resulting nanoparticle was characterized in terms of morphology, particle size, magnetic properties, and crystal structure. |
