| 제목 | Preparation and Characterization of Polypropylene/Silicate Nanocomposites Using New Compatibilizer |
| 초록 | In this study, we report the preparation and the characterization of exfoliated PP/silicate nanocomposites using new compatibilizer having a epoxy group which can react with organic modifier of silicate. For this purpose, the melt grafting of glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) onto hi-isotactic polypropylene (HIPP) was studied as the new compatibilizer. Then clay was directly melt-mixed with the new compatibilizer to prepare exfoliated PP/silicate nanocomposites. As the ratio of modified clay was increased, we investigated the morphology, mechanical properties and thermal properties of nanocomposites. |
