제목 Effect of Miscibility on Blend Properties of PPO/PS/MWCNT and PPO/PMMA/MWCNT Nanocomposites
초록 The blend of polyphenylene oxide(PPO) / polystyrene(PS) has been well known to be good miscible composites, while the blend of PPO / polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA) is immiscible. We prepared PPO/PS and PPO/PMMA with multi-walled carbon nanotube(MWCNT). In this study, difference of blends properties between PPO/PS/MWCNT and PPO/PMMA/MWCNT were identified depending on the miscibility. We investigated thermal and electrical properties and mechanical characteristics and subsequently, confirmed morphology of fracture surface of those nanocomposites. For both PPO/PS/MWCNT and PPO/PMMA/MWCNT, thernal properties were investigated by DSC and DMA and morphology were characterized by SEM and TEM.
