Synthesis and characterization of a Liquid Crystalline Epoxy(LCE) containing mesogen group for analysis of epoxy resin |
| 초록 |
Liquid crystalline epoxy monomer, diglycidyl ether of terephthalylidene-bis-(p-aminophenol) (DGETA) was synthesized and characterized by infrared (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. The effect of DGETA content on mechanical of its blends with Diglycidyl ether of terephthalylidene-type was investigated. DGETA was observed by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and polarizing optical microscope (POM). |
