Synthesis of Carboxymethyl chitosan-graft-amino acid for antibiotic therapy |

This study designed to carboxymethyl group modified chitosan and amino acid for antibiotic therapy. Carboxymethyl chitosan-graft-amino acid were synthesized by chemical reaction. The structure were investigated by fourier transform infrared FT-IR(Fourier transform infrared), 1H-NMR(1Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance). Also, particle size was measured by DLS(Dynamic Light Scattering). In this study, we investigated antibacterial activity of carboxymethyl chitosan-graft-amino acid. The results proposed that carboxymethyl chitosan-graft-amino acid has a potential as an effective antibiotic material. |
