제목 Novel highly stable ionic-mediated crosslinked polyimides having different dual cations for enhanced CO2 separation
초록 We report a novel polymeric ionic liquids (PIL)s based on crosslinked 6FDA-Durene polyimide. Here the dual cation ionic-mediator was introduced, as both crosslinkage site and CO2- solubilizing group. Three different types of ionic-mediated crosslinked membranes based on imidazolium, piperazinium and dabco were prepared by homogeneous method of membrane casting. All the crosslinked polymer membranes showed superior chemical resistivity in common polar organic solvents along with excellent thermal and mechanical properties, suggesting the applicability of these crosslinked polymer membranes for the practical gas separation. The dabco-based crosslinked 6FDA-polyimide showed superior permeability to CO2 as well as enhanced CO2/light gas permselectivity. Furthermore, this novel ionic-mediated crosslinked polymer membrane showed good resistance to plasticization by CO2.
