A series of waterborne polyurthane dispersions modified with different contents of Aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTES) were synthesized based on polycarbonate(PCD) and Isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI) and Dimethylol propionic acid(DMPA), and the films were obtained by casting the dispersions. IR and NMR experiments confirmed the insertion of the alkoysilane. Effects of APTES content on the particle size and viscosity of the dispersions were studied.
