Flexible and Transparent Metallic Grid Electrodes Prepared by Evaporative Assembly |

We have developed a new approach to fabicate flexible and transparent metallic grid electrodes by flow-coating for high performance organic electronic devices. Grid width and spacing were systematically controlled by varying the concentration of polymer solution and programmed distance of polymer blade between intermittent stopping times. The resulting Au grid electrodes exhibited optical transmittance of 92% and sheet resistance of 97Ω/sq. Our optimized metallic grid electrodes were successfully applied to organic electronic devices such as organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic solar cells (OSCs), and resistive-type touch panels. |
