제목 Highly conductive micro-grooved hydrogels for a cardiac tissue engineering
초록 Micro-patterned hydrogel with electrical properties has got attention to cardiac tissue engineering. Here, we develop semi-interpenetrating network hydrogel by in-situ polymerizing EDOT within patterned PSS_PEG hydrogel. This resultant hydrogel were shown to have high electrical conductivity and cell alignment behavior. The surface modification of the conductive hydrogel scaffolds could be conducted for cell adhesion. In-vitro studies indicated that C2C12 cell cultured on micro-grooved conductive scaffolds aligned in the direction of patterns with the ability to contract. SEM Image showed that well-defined line patterns and PEDOT particles on the conductive hydrogel surface. Cell viability and cell proliferation rate were measured by live/dead assay and MTT assay. The fascinating outcome of these hybrid hydrogels is expected to have opportunities for the further research on cardiac tissue engineering.
