Cellulose is a naturally abundant resource and has been produced approximately 150 billion tons each year. Natural cellulose has a weak piezoelectric property by electric poling process or mechanical stretching process. Cellulose acetate (CA) can be dissolved in many organic solvent including acetone and chloroform. To overcome the difficulty of the cellulose process and the low piezoelectric constant, CA is employed to improve the process and increase the piezoelectric constant. Direct fluorination process has been performed with various concentration of F2. However, the amount of the attached F is limited to maximum 3,2 wt. %. To increase the attached amount of F, porous CA structure is fabricated to increase the surface area of the polymer and is reacted with F2. The attached F increased to 8.9 wt. %. These results indicate that using CA can be improve the film fabrication process and increases the piezoelectric constant by attaching F and stretching process. |
