Functional particles have received extensive interests in the field of diagnostics, bioseparators, catalysis, sensors, absorbents and enzyme carriers. In this study, micro monodisperse poly(vinyl amine)(PVAm) hollow particles were simply prepared and introduced Ag onto the PVAm hollow particles using their amine groups. Ag nanoparticles in the PVAm hollow particles was indentified by X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns. The shape and morphology of PVAm/Ag hollow particles were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The surface and thermal property of composite particles was examined using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), respectively. |
