제목 The characteristics of PMMA Organic-Inorganic hybrid particle Coated with silica-layer by Layer By Layer (LBL) assembly process
초록 In LCD display, not only to overcome low thermal stability of PMMA but also to enhance the luminance and efficiency of BLU, reinforcing materials have been incorporated into the PMMA matrix. In this study, monodisperse micron-sized Poly(MMA-co-TMSPM)hybrid particle were produced by dispersion polymerization. In order to enhance the scattering efficiency, 3-trimethoxysilylpropyl methacrylate was incorporated as co-monomer and silica layer was coated vialayer-by-layer(LBL) method. The morphology and size distribution were observed utilizing SEM and TEM. We observed the optical property of the composite particles according to the number of silica layers.
