Counter electrode is usually using by platinized F-doped SnO2(Pt-FTO), due to the high catalytic activity and conductivity of platinum(Pt), in dye-sensitized solar cells(DSSCs). However, since Pt is noble metal, so expensive, and the cost of platinum counter electrode is over 40% of the whole photovoltaic cell regardless of its preparation method, which could be the limiting factors for the large-scale commercial application of them. Therefore, recently attempts on conductive polymer have been made to replace Pt. The polyaniline(PANI) is one of the most intensively studied conductive polymers, due to its easy synthesis, high-conductivity, good environmental stability and interesting redox properties. In this study, efficiency of DSSCs using polyaniline coated counter electrode was measured by according to the Dye type difference (D205, N719). Efficiency of two devices measured by Linear sweep voltammetry(LSV) method were 1.95%(D205), 3.67%(N719). |
