제목 Highly Efficient CdS/CdSe Quantum-dot-sensitized Solar Cells by Controlling Growth Time of CuS Counter Electrode
초록 Quantum dot sensitized solar cells have drawn a significant attention as next generation solar cells due to their facile fabrication process and low cost compared to silicon based solar cells. We have investigated the effect of growth time of CuS counter electrode to enhance the photovoltaic performance of the QDSSCs. The surface morphology and thickness of the CuS counter electrodes were examined using a field emission scanning electron microscope. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and Tafel polarization were performed for the symmetrical dummy cells of CuS, and Pt CEs in dark conditions. The current-voltage characteristics of the QDSSCs were studied under one-sun illumination (AM 1.5G, 100 mW/cm2) and the results demonstrate that CuS 2h based QDSSCs exhibit high efficiency (η) of 4.27% with JSC = 14.31 mA cm-2, VOC = 0.603 V, and FF = 0.49, which are higher than those with Pt counter electrode.
