제목 Thermal, mechanical and electrical properties ofepoxy/expanded graphite nanocomposites
초록 Thermal, mechanical, and electrical properties of conductive expanded graphite (EG)-filled epoxy nanocomposites prepared by sonication-melting method were studied. As a result, the EG showed a good dispersibility in the epoxy resins and thereafter the conductivity of the nanocomposites was increased with increasing the EG content and exhibited the percolation threshold at 3 wt%. Thermal degradation temperature of the nanocomposites was increased with addition of EG and the maximum value of fracture toughness determined by critical stress intensity factor (KIC) for the nanocomposites was found at 1 wt% EG. These results were due to the multi-pore feature of expanded graphites and the interaction between basic epoxy and acidic OH and COOH groups of the EG.
