제목 Diverse Synthesis and Properties of Water-Borne Polyurethane Dispersion Including Photo-Crosslink Agent.
초록  Eco-friendly material is an emerging issue in next generation chemical industry. Especially in coating process, reducing volatile organic compound is extremely important to secure worker’s safety. For the reason, many performance water-borne polyurethane dispersions (PUDs) have been developed as an alternative of current hazardous solvent-borne coating materials. However, PUDs usually exhibit inferior mechanical properties to organic solvent-borne polyurethane due to their low molecular weight limit. To overcome this drawback, several approaches have been examined such as blends and thermal/radiation induced crosslinking. Among these methods, radiation curing system is attractive for industrial application because of high crosslinking density and fast curing speed. In this study, we synthesize novel PUDs which contains radiation curable unit in their backbone. Disperion in water and film formation were successfully done. Optimum radiation exposure time, mechanical properties, and long-term dispersion stability were also examined.
