Organic solar cells using low-band gap semiconducting polymers containing a perylene unit as a crystallization inducing group |
초록 |
A series of semi-conducting copolymers PFDTBT, PF2DTBT, and their ter-polymers containing perylene units were synthesized using Suzuki coupling polymerization. The resulting polymers were characterized by 1H- and 13C-NMR, elemental analysis, DSC, and TGA. The synthesized polymers were found to be soluble in common organic solvents and are easily spin-coated onto glass substrates, resulting high optical quality thin films without defects. Thermo gravimetric analysis shown the copolymers have high thermal stability, the 5 % degradation temperature was found about 350 °C. Among these six polymers, PFDTBT-5Per and PFDTBT-10Per demonstrates semi-crystallization behavior. Energy levels of the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) were also determined by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Photovoltaic devices were fabricated using the copolymers as the p-type donor and C60-PCBM or C70-PCBM as the electron acceptors. |
