Controlled drug delivery system (DDS) based on nanoparticles has received a lot of attention due to their high drug loading capacity and biocompatibility. The mesoporous silica nanoparticle MCM-41 has been researched for the biological applications with extensive specific surface, large pore volume, tunable particle and pore size. And as changing a gate keeper material, it can be used for various drug’s host molecule and control each drug’s release. In this work, we have modified MCM-41 particles with pH responsive polymer on layer-by-layer as a gate keeper and investigated drug release ability by adjusting the ratio of layers. Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) show morphology of mesoporous nanoparticles. And we can confirm the structure of polymer by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR). |
