Oxidative stabilization and carbonization processes were used to prepare polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based carbon webs. The oxidative stabilization of PAN-based webs were tried at various temperatures. The effect of oxidative stabilization on the physical properties and microstructure of the final carbon webs were reported in this study. In the present study, PAN-based webs processed under different heat-treatment temperatures of oxidative stabilization were investigated for elemental analysis(EA), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimentric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). |
