제목 | Enhancing Ionic conductivity of the Argyrodite Solid Electrolyte by Cation Doping |
초록 | All-solid-state lithium-ion batteries (ASSLIBs) have attracted enormous attention recently due to their excellent safety and high energy density. However, solid electrolytes of ASSLIBs suffered from low ionic conductivity than that of the liquid electrolyte, and various researches have been conducted to improve the ionic conductivity of the solid electrolyte. In this study, we focused on improving the ionic conductivity of argyrodite solid electrolytes by substituting lithium with cations. Cation doping of the Li+ site with Ca2+ or Al3+ generates vacancies that improve Li+ conductivity. Cation-doped solid electrolytes were fabricated with a high-energy ball milling method, and ionic conductivity of solid electrolytes was measured with the increase of doping concentration. The cation doping process greatly enhanced the ionic conductivity of the argyrodite solid electrolytes. |
