Biodiesel sources have controversial issues about CO2 reduction effects because those mainly come from edible plants such as soybean, palm, rapeseed exhaust lots of CO2 to cultivate. Microalgae is focused because they are inedible and has rapid growth rates and high CO2 adsorption rate per area. In this study, we analyzed the each FAME(Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) components using GCxGC-TOF M/S instead of GC-FID and verified the previous total FAME contents analysis method (EN 14103) applicability for microalgal biodiesel. Also we evaluated vehicle emission gas and fuel economy of diesel and biodiesel derived from microalgea blends. |
