제목 | Effect of different cation containing RTIL on Co2+ redox behavior towards mediator generation |
초록 | The Ionic liquids have the both cationic and anionic contained hydrophobic groups naturally having a tendency to solve metal ions that solvation effect may differ with difference cationic or anionic moiety of RTIL. In order to generate suitable mediator, there will be a prior knowledge can be advantageous about suitable cationic or anionic moiety. With this idea, we performed the electrochemical behavior of CoCO3 or Co(ClO4)2 in 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl imide ([BMIM]NTF2) and N-butyl–N-methylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl imide ([Pyr14]NTF2) by cyclic voltammetry method. The electrochemical parameters and redox properties of Co2+/Co3+ and Co2+/Co1+ were analyzed by effect of scan rate, and different electrodes like Pt, Ti and Graphite.
