In order to attain the high-performance gas sensing, significant efforts were carried out, including the development of structure/architecture, the incorporation of new materials, and the modification of the sensor surface. In the present work, we focus on the enhancement of gas sensing by exploring the new materials. First, we incorporated new materials such as reduced graphene oxides. Second, we changed the sensing properties of existing sensing materials by means of a variety of strategies, including phase transformation, e-beam irradiation, ion-beam irradiation, and doping. Third, we employed a novel material, which has been seldomly used as a gas sensor, in order to enhance the sensing performances. |
