Synthesis of a novel inhibitor of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-1 accumulation in cancer cells |
| 초록 |
We designed and synthesized strobilurin analogues as HIF inhibitor. Biological evaluation in human colorectal cancer showed that most of the synthesized strobilurin analogues possessed moderate to potent inhibitory activity against the hypoxia-induced HIF-1 transcriptional activation. Under hypoxic condition, strobilurin analogues enhanced the intracellular oxygen contents, thereby attenuating the hypoxia-induced accumulation of HIF-1α protein. We examined the effects on hypoxia-induced transcriptional activation of HIF-1 and our results from this study could provide an impetus to further develop strobilurin analogues as anticancer agent. |
