제목 Preparation of pH-Responsive Hydrophilic Core-Shell Particles for encapsulation of Water-Soluble Material
초록 Hydrogel is three-dimensional network structures of chemically or physically crosslinked hydrophilic polymers. The phase and volume transition of hydrogel are induced by external stimuli such as pH, temperature, ionic strength, magnetic or electric fields. In this study, intelligent hydrophilic particles having core/shell structures were prepared for encapsulating the hydrophilic materials. These particles were composed of the pH responsive materials, which were poly(acrylic acid) (core) and poly(vinyl amine) (shell) crosslinked with glutaraldehyde. The morphology and structural characteristic of core/shell were confirmed through scanning electron microscope (SEM) and confocal laser scanning microscope (CLSM), respectively. In addition, releasing profiles of the water-soluble dye (methylene blue) were investigated against the external medium pH using UV-Vis spectra (UV).
