제목 Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of Star-Shaped Poly(2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate)-B-Poly(L-Lysine) Copolymers by Ring Opening Polymerization of α-Amino Acid-N-Carboxyanhydrides
초록 A series of synthetic star-shaped polymer bioconjugate hybrid materials consisting of poly(2-hydroxyethyl mathacrylate) (p(HEMA)) and poly(L-lysine) (p(Lys)) are synthesized by combining atom transfer radical polymerization of HEMA with ring opening polymerization of α-amino acid-N-carboxyanhydride. In this study the ring opening polymerization was performed in a microwave oven. In comparison with conventional methods, these polymerizations, proceeded rapidly and were completed within 30 min. The resultant copolymers are characterized using nuclear magnetic resonance and infrared spectroscopic techniques.
