제목 | Liquid Crystal Alignment Effect on a Novel Photo-Crosslinkable Polyitaconimide containing Three Kinds of the Substituent |
초록 | In this presentation, we synthesized a new photo-crosslinkable polyitaconimide containing a cinnamoyl moietys by radical polymerization. Also, the NLC alignment capabilities on these photopolymer surfaces were studied. The good LC alignment can be obtained with UV exposure on the polyitaconimide surfaces . The homogenous alignment can be obtained using UV exposure on the polyitaconimide with a cinnamoyl group and with a cinnamoly group connected to a butylene group. However, the homeotripic alignment using UV exposure was observed on polyitaconimide with a cinnamoyl group connected to a hexylene group. The LC aligning ability on the polyitaconimide depends on the side chain length of photopolymers. It will be discussed.
