제목 Intramolecular Charge Transfer(ICT) Effect Optimization of Random Copolymer Based on Thiophene, Benzothiadiazole
초록 Thiophene-based polymers can be raised as a material having attracted attention in OTFT, OPVs because their high solubility, crystallinity, and mobility for last several decades. However, the photovoltaic performances of these polymers are restricted by their relatively large band gap and the limited possibilities to modulate their physical properties like weak oxidation stability, large band gape and high off-state leakage.
In this study, a series of donor-acceptor low-bandgap conjugated polymers, composed of regioregular 3-hexylthiophene segments and 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole units, were synthesized through the Stille coupling polymerization to optimize the p-conjugation length of the polymer and the intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) effect in the polymer backbone. Also, photovoltaic devices with high power conversion efficiency could be achieved.
