제목 Stimuli Responsive Noncovalent Polymer-Gatekeeper Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles for Targeted Drug Delivery
초록 Selectively targeting tumor cells and releasing the drug molecules inside the tumor microenvironment can reduce adverse side effects. The goals can be achieved by the use of stimuli-responsive targeted drug delivery systems. We have developed a robust and simple one-pot route to synthesize non-covalent polymer-gatekeeper mesoporous silica nanoparticles by noncovalently capping the pores of drug-loaded nanocontainers with the disulfide cross-linkable polymers. It shows very high loading efficiency because the chemical modification of mesoporous nanoparticles (MSNs) is not required. Furthermore, the polymer shell can be easily decorated with targeting ligand for selective delivery to specific cancer cell by subsequent addition of the thiol-containing ligand molecule. The drug molecules loaded in the nanocontainers can be released by the degradation of the polymer shell at the intracellular reducing microenvironment which sequentially induces cell death.
