제목 The formation of 2D array of Organic-Inorganic Composite Nonspherical microspheres by Convective assembly
초록 Convective assembly technique has been applied to array the multi-layer of colloids. In convective assembly method, the solvent flux, interparticle capillary force and interfacial tension should be considered for film deposition. In this study, organic-inorganic composite doublet microspheres were synthesized with polystyrene seed and 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylate(TMSPM) by the seeded polymerization. For efficient deposition of the particles, interfacial tension and evaporation rate was controlled. The ordered structure was characterized by optical microscope and scanning electron microscope.
