Triphenylamine (TPA) is one of interesting optoelectric materials that show photo-induced radical generation at the center of the moiety. Generally, self-assembly of TPA molecules does not produce a well-ordered structure, because TPA itself has a triangular structure. But recently, formation of well-ordered nanorod via photo-induced structural change of TPA has been reported. It is quite interesting development due to the applicable potential of TPA. Here we present a system containing TPA with polymerizable moiety that could fix the assembled superstructure by external stimulus. |
