Here, we present the cesium lead halide (CsPbX3, X = Cl, Br, and I) based perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) with their application for light emitting device (LED). All inorganic perovskites, like the CsPbX3, has relatively better prominent stability with uniform morphology than organohalide perovskites, MAPbX3 (MA = CH3NH3). These CsPbX3 based perovskite showed narrow full width half maximum (FWHM) with facile band gap tuning via halide ratio control. In order to improve the photoemission properties of PeQDs, we introduced ligand-assisted post treatment (LAPT) method, demonstrating the effect of LAPT via structural characterization of PeQDs and optoelectronic investigation of the resulting PeQDs based LED (PeQLED). |
