제목 Highly Stable Doping State in Graphene via Combination with Poly(3,4-ethlyenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) as a Doping Agent
초록 We report a high performance graphene electrode via chemical doping with a conducting polymer, poly(3,4-ethlyenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) as a dopant and protection layer. Multi-layered graphene (GR) was synthesized on Ni-coated Si/SiO2 substrate by chemical vapor deposition (CVD). By casting a PEDOT:PSS layer on the GR, the sheet resistance (Rs) was reduced from ~ 350 to ~ 150 Ω/□ without significant change in optical transmittance. More significantly, PEDOT:PSS-doped GR shows the enhanced stability in air – no change in Rs during 1300 hrs – compared to those of GR doped with HNO3 or AuCl3. Raman spectra of the PEDOT:PSS-doped GR indicate that GR is doped with sulfuric acid of PEDO:PSS and the doping state is stable due to strong electrostatic force between positively charged carbon in GR and sulfonate anion in PSS.
