Synthesis for rod-coil block copolymer with conducting polymer |

A rod-coil block copolymer consisting of a conducting rod block and an insulating coil block was prepared by RAFT (Reversible addition-fragmentation transfer) method. For this purpose, poly(3-hexyl thiophene) with special functional group was first polymerized, which can initiate methylmethacrylate monomer. We investigate the phase behavior of this block copolymer depending the block length ratio and total molecular weight |
