Monodisperse nanoparticles are essential to the nanotechnology including the fundamental scientific interests or technological applications. However, although the synthesis of monodisperse nanoparticles have been reported by a lot of groups, the amount of the products is in the sub-gram scale, which is too small for many applications. We report a new generalized method for large scale syntheses of highly crystalline and monodisperse nanoparticles of metal and metal oxide via a simple and inexpensive route without a size sorting process. |
