The new low-bandgap random copolymers (P3DT-DFQx) based on quinoxaline with difluoro group and thiophene derivative were synthesized via Stille coupling reaction using Pd cat. In order to know which the ratio is the best, synthesis was progressed by changing the ratio of electron-rich unit and electron-deficient unit. Highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level was showed in the range of -5.33eV to -5.52eV, these polymers displayed an low optical bandgap of 1.85–1.94eV. Strong absorption spectra was taken observation at all the polymers in the range of 350 - 600nm in o-dichlorobenzene solution state and 400-700nm in film state. Bulkheterojunction (BHJ) solar cells were further fabricated by blending the as-prepared polymer with (6,6)-phenyl-C60-butyric acid methyl ester (PC60BM) or (6,6)-phenyl-C70-butyric acid methyl ester (PC70BM) at different weight ratios. |
